    Just FYI, Forumotion is upgrading their servers. In the short run this could mean that at times the forum will be a bit slower to load, but in the long run this should improve performance once the upgrade is finished.

    So if the forum blocks a bit, be patient Wink

    Great, just fracking great...
    I've been trying to reset the goddamn DNS/IP address thingie and setup a secure wireless system for about SIX hours now and I discovered, with the help of Linksys tech support, that I've broken the fracking wireless router that was working just fine this morning before I touched it.

    I suppose the fact that I'm acutally able to type this at all from my father's desktop is at least some consolation that I didn't screw EVERYTHING up.

    Now I'm off to the store to get a new one. Hopefully it will work.

    Coco, does any of this information help you with your question to me? This info is for the LAN directly to the modem/desktop computer.

    Hah! I'm back in business baby - don't know what it was, but now w/ a new router my laptop connects just fine. I'm thinking that the original router (which was a few years old) was on it's last legs and I completely broke it this morning. So, one new router and secure network setup later - everything is back to normal.

    I got all the info I needed, I've even got your ISP's postal code now Wink
    The devs from Forumotion think it's related to the migration that some dns servers aren't altering their internal lists for their new servers.

    For anyone else having serious probs connecting to this forum (also disconnects and the like), this should be resolved in a few days.

    Okay, the issues should be more or less over by now. Forumotion got the advice to move their servers to another provider to get superior connection and stability... which turned out to be an epic fail. So they made a new deal with their previous provider, upgraded to new servers and in the end we're still getting better connections and faster servers Smile
